As a Fort Collins newborn photographer, it’s always an honor to be invited into new parent’s homes during the first few weeks of their new babies life. Alyssa and Warren welcomed their baby boy to the world in April of 2022. He was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19.5 inches long when he was born.

Just two weeks after he was born, I was able to take his newborn photos. Let me tell you, he did so well. He was awake some and slept some. He got some individual photos and some photos snuggling with mom and dad! One of my favorite things about this session is the tiny jeans that Slater wore for a few photos.

The first few weeks of a babies life feel like a whirlwind, but a newborn photo session is a chance to pause and capture your tiny baby. I mean, they will never be this small again (*insert crying emoji*).
