Felicia + Blake Maternity Photos at Blooms on 23 Greenhouse

There’s something incredibly special about documenting the quiet anticipation before a baby arrives, and this maternity session in March was no exception. Set inside the warm, light-filled greenhouse at Blooms on 23—one of my absolute favorite locations—this session felt like a little pocket of spring, even as winter lingered outside.

These two are expecting their first baby, a sweet little girl, and the excitement between them was so genuine and easy to capture. From the moment we started, their connection was effortless. The way he held her, gently resting his hands on her growing belly, and the way she leaned into him with complete comfort—it all spoke volumes about the love already surrounding their daughter.

The greenhouse created the perfect atmosphere: soft, diffused light streaming through the glass, earthy textures, and a peaceful stillness that allowed their story to unfold naturally. We moved between cozy, intimate moments indoors and a few golden, windswept shots outside, where the early spring light added a dreamy warmth to the images.

One of my favorite parts of this session was how relaxed everything felt. There was no rush—just laughter, quiet smiles, and those in-between moments that often say the most. She radiated confidence and beauty, embracing this season of life, while he never stopped looking at her like she was everything.

Maternity sessions like this are such a beautiful reminder that this chapter—waiting, dreaming, preparing—is just as meaningful as the ones that follow. Soon, their arms will be full, their world a little busier, and their hearts even fuller.

But for now, this was their moment to pause, soak it all in, and celebrate the beginning of their journey into parenthood.
