northern colorado Senior Photographer
Hey, it's Rachel, your Northern Colorado senior photographer. Senior year is such a sweet time of celebration, and I want to help kick off your last year of high school with some fun, laid-back senior photos.
I am actually a high school math teacher, so I know just how stressful senior year can be, but let me tell ya, senior photos are not meant to add to the stress! My approach is easy-going and super fun.
I hope to capture candid and authentic pictures that represent YOU!
While searching for an affordable photographer for my son's senior photos, I found Rachel. I was very impressed by her online portfolio so I made an inquiry. She replied the same day. One of the first things I noticed in her email was that she is both personable and professional. The perfect fit for me and my son. Rachel's personable nature made Ryan feel very comfortable during the photo shoot. He was able to be himself, which shows in the beautiful photos she took. I am so happy and grateful for the connection I made with Rachel. Yes, her prices are affordable, but the photos and experience with her are much more than that.

• Avoid large or busy patterns. Try to stick to small patterns or solid colors.
• Say yes to texture. A little lace, a flowy dress, or even a fuzzy scarf can add a pop of fun to your photos without being overpowering.
•Colors - everyone has a different take on color. I LOVE color; it adds a richness and depth to your photos, but not every color is created equally. I always suggest either neutrals (tan, black, white, light pink or blue) or rich, gem colors (teal, navy blue, burgundy, forest green, or maroon). Avoid bright and neon colors because they can be very overpowering in your photos.
• Dress for the weather. Colorado’s weather is unpredictable! In the summer, shorts and dresses are comfortable, but consider bringing a light jacket for when the sun starts to set and the temperature drops. In the fall, I suggest sweaters and boots. For guys, I always suggest nice shorts or pants with a nice collared shirt.
• Bring several options! I am always willing to help you pick the best 2-3 outfits to compliment your style.
