Simple and Classy Backyard Wedding in Fort Collins, Colorado

Case and Carrie are one of the sweetest and most organized couples I have ever met. Their wedding was a backyard wedding in Colorado on the 4th of July. The whole day was so beautiful and elegant. If you are looking to have a DIY wedding, then you need to check out this wedding.
Case and Carrie’s wedding was simple and classy. It took place on family property in Fort Collins. With backyard weddings, it can be easy to get carried away with all the DIY projects, but Case and Carrie created simple décor and let the property’s beauty and their love for each other steal the show.
At the ceremony, there was a simple aspen arch with a beautiful floral arrangement. The reception was in a bright barn with classy centerpieces and outdoor stringed lights. Carrie’s dress was stunning, and Case dressed in his Navy dress uniform.
As a part of the Navy, and their recessional included a traditional sword arch. This was so sweet and a salute to the newly weds. Case kissed Carrie to complete the rite of passage through the sword arch. That was my favorite part!
Backyard weddings in Colorado are beautiful and popular because of the amazing backdrop of the mountains. My encouragement to you when you are planning your backyard wedding in Colorado is to keep it simple. Focus on a few standout pieces of décor. String some outdoor twinkle lights. Identify your top three priorities and spend most of your budget on those. Everything else doesn’t matter.
When you know your are marrying the person of your dreams and your best friend, simple is all you need.
