Leeann and Jake decided to get away during Memorial Day weekend to Winter Park, Colorado. They also decided to take advantage of the beautiful mountain landscape and get their Colorado mountain engagement photos done.

It was such a treat to capture their love. Jake and Leeann are sweet and easy-going, and their session was SO MUCH FUN! We explored a beautiful trail near Winter Park.

“I love our proposal story because it was so authentically us. We were still living in California at the time, so we made weekend plans to go to our favorite beach in Dana Point.

That morning, we started out the day by hitting our favorite grocery store (Trader Joe’s) and picked up some cheese and crackers as well as our drink of choice (always beer) and headed to the beach! It was by far the most beautiful day at the beach I had ever seen, the sky was crystal clear and the view was to die for.

After some time just relaxing and laying in the sun, Jake asked me if I wanted to take a walk down to the rock formations at the far end of the beach. We walked hand in hand down the beach and when we finally reached the rocks, he turned to me, got down on one knee, and asked me to spend forever with him! By far the easiest yes of my life!

It was a beautiful moment just the two of us and I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect proposal!”
