The Hijmans family was so kind to trust me as their Northern Colorado family photographer this last fall. We explored Devil’s Backbone on a beautiful fall day. After about a 1/4 mile walk, we had mountain views! This location is perfect for those late fall photos because of the unique rock features, views of the mountains, and variety of backgrounds.
They were laid-back and super fun, which made my job so dang easy! I loved giving them easy, movement-based prompts to bring out the joy of their family and capture their authentic, sweet relationships.
Family photos with a two year old can also be challenging, but their daughter was so joyful and full of smiles! She got lots of cuddles with mom and dad, and after a little while, she got cold and wanted to wear her cute winter coat. We also got some adorable photos with her favorite stuffed animal (basically another member of the family)!
After our session, the Hijmans family was off to celebrate Mom! She was graduating from UNC with her doctorate degree. The family session was a celebration of this huge accomplishment!
When Kyler reached out to me, I knew she was my kind of family. She said, “I’m always looking for a reason to get some family photos taken because my little one is growing up so fast, and I love having pictures of us all together.”
Your family deserves to be celebrated and documented! These moments are fleeting, so let’s preserve your family history, just like the Hijmans family did! I would be honored if you trusted me to be your Northern Colorado Family Photographer.
Hey there, I’m Rachel, your Northern Colorado Family Photographer, and I want to capture YOUR family! Let’s chat and schedule your family session!
