Grace + Jonny Engagement Photos

Fall is my favorite season, so what better way to celebrate Grace and Jonny’s engagement than fall engagement photos in Colorado. Sweetheart Winery in Loveland, Colorado was the stunning backdrop for their photos!

We met up right at the start of golden hour and explored the property. There were big yellow trees, a beautiful field, mountain views and a river! So many backdrops… It really was a photographer’s dream.

In order to create FUN fall engagement photos, I actually asked them to play in the leaves – to throw the leaves in the air and kiss as the leaves fell over them.. Was it worth it?! 100% YES! 

Okay, and the BEST part…

Since we were at a winery, Grace and Jonny had to get a glass of the delicious wine! Grace got white wine and Jonny got rose. You really can’t go wrong with any of the wine choices; they are all delicious. Grace and Jonny enjoyed their wine picnic style with the Rocky Mountains peeking out over the fall colored trees. They were lucky to have one of those perfect fall nights – warm weather with a stunning sunset.

Grace and Jonny met at cosmetology school a few years ago and started dating not long after! They have a beautiful one year old girl who made a star appearance for a few photos during their engagement photos. Being engaged often brings a lot of stress, but Grace and Jonny were so relaxed and excited to finally be one step closer to getting married! 

The evening was so fun and laid-back – I honestly felt like I was hanging out with old friends. Jonny and Grace are so in love, which you can definitely tell by these fall engagement photos in Colorado!
